Session Covers Remote Visual Inspection
Dennis Pelton, Substation Technical Services, Bonneville Power Administration, will present a session on remote visual inspection. Tom Siver from Olympus Industrial will be on hand to assist with the presentation. They will share their experience with internal inspections of substation equipment that may assist in identifying potential problems.

Dennis Pelton leads a team to evaluate and procure the tools and test equipment used by substation maintenance electricians.
Pelton has been with BPA since 2000. He has worked as a substation electrician and working foreman. Prior to joining BPA, he worked for Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation as a power plant control operator, substation electrician, and system operator.
