Factory Day Tour Limited to 300 People

The 2009 Finepoint Circuit Breaker Test and Maintenance Training Conference Factory Day, to be hosted by HVB AE Power Systems, is limited to 300 participants. Invitations to participate in the factory day tour are given at the discretion of HVB AE Power Systems and are limited to the first 300 people who register for the conference.

HVB also hosted the Factory Day in 2004 and will once again feature new developments in technology, a factory tour and vendor presentations throughout the day.

HVB, founded as High Voltage Breakers, Inc. in 1977, was a joint venture between Hitachi, Ltd. and General Electric Co.. HVB's experienced and dedicated employees have provided leading products and services with pride and responsibility for more than 30 years, since the foundation.

Today, HVB is not just a domestic high-voltage circuit breaker manufacturer but also plays an important role as an international supplier with a wide array of substation equipment. In 2008, the first dead-tank type 800kV GCB was delivered to a U.S. customer, and several units have been supplied continuously since then.

As one of the pivotal overseas bases of AE Power Group, HVB continues to contribute to the development of the electric infrastructure around the world, meeting the diverse needs of the market.

HVB AE Power Systems is a subsidiary of Japan AE Power Systems Corp., which manufactures SF6 gas circuit breakers and non-SF6 vacuum circuit breakers.

HVB AE Power Systems will be exhibiting each evening at the Hospitality Expo in Booth #70.
