Registration Deadline Extended

Finepoint has elected to extend its Circuit Breaker Test and Maintenance Training Conference registration deadline date to Friday, Sept. 25.

“Economic conditions prompted many utilities to cut their training budgets earlier this year, and this extension will help them take advantage of the improved economic conditions," said Bill Myers, conference organizer. "We have renegotiated our contract with the host hotel, the Sheraton Atlanta, to accommodate the extended deadline date.”

Conference attendance has consistently grown every year since 1994, but this year registrations are down 20% through August.

“Utilities may need a little more time to fine-tune their training budget allocations and decide to send their people to this popular and well-respected conference in October,” Myers said.

The conference offers substation and switchgear maintenance personnel the best value in the industry. The $750 registration fee includes a full week of training, meals and refreshments, a day at the HVB AE Power Systems circuit breaker manufacturing plant, two half-day seminars, and 90 supplier exhibits each evening at the Hospitality Expo.
