System Technician position available.

Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision responsible for directing the work of System, Junior and Assistant Testers, and at times to train and direct work of trainees

  • Test, calibrate and repair electro-mechanical, solid state and microprocessor base relays at transmission and distribution substations and power plant facilities

  • Perform routine testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of substation equipment, relay and control circuits, including SCADA

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • College Algebra, Trigonometry and Electrical Circuits 1 & 2 from an accredited college

  • Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred

  • Five years of experience as a Relay Technician/Tester

  • Computer skills required
