Burns & McDonnell Hires Utility Company Project Director

Anne Bartosewicz Joins Worldwide Engineering Firm’s Transmission and Distribution Division

Wallingford, CT –The New England office of Burns & McDonnell has hired Anne Bartosewicz as Project Manager within the Transmission and Distribution division. Ms. Bartosewicz will work on a number of projects throughout the Northeast for Burns & McDonnell and develop the company’s offerings to new clients.  

Ms. Bartosewicz worked most recently for 32 years at Northeast Utilities as a Project Director within their Transmission Group.  She played the lead role in managing some the largest projects in the company’s history including the successful completion of the $1 billion Middletown-Norwalk project in Southwestern, CT and developing and permitting the company’s proposed Northern Pass project.

Ms. Bartosewicz will serve as Project Manager for several projects in the Northeast where Burns & McDonnell acts as Program Manager. The firm is currently managing over $7 billion worth of infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast and Canada. She will also work on new business development as investment in the electric transmission and distribution industry is booming. She will split time between the firm’s New England headquarters in Wallingford, CT and project offices throughout the Northeast including New Jersey, New York, Maine and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Bartosewicz lives with her husband in West Hartford, CT.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Hartford.
