Ofil Ltd. announces the launch of UVollé-C series

Ofil introduces new compact daytime corona cameras.

Nes Ziona, Israel, January 16, 2014 -- Ofil is proud to present the latest addition to its range of products, the DayCor UVollé-C, a new line of compact daytime corona cameras. Three years of intensive use have taught Ofil that maintenance teams throughout the world found the UVollé a practical camera with a good value for its price, but Ofil searched for more. UVollé, according to Ofil’s perception, needs to provide an excellent value, and that is exactly what Moshe Goldbaum believes to have achieved with this new UVollé-C series.

UVollé-C corona cameras series is light in weight, has a slim silhouette and designed to be comfortably handheld ready to be used swiftly. A battery that lasts more than 4 continuous working hours and an outstanding LCD are this series’ clear advantages, mainly during outdoor field inspection routines.  The upscale wide LCD displays vividly corona signals and the emitting sources with indications of the corona severity. The combination of high sensitivity to corona discharges, inherent in all DayCor® range, and excellent display makes this series so unique and so very attractive, or as Moshe Goldbaum says: “We believe that UVollé-C innovative solution will make a huge difference in the corona inspection experience.”

Consistent with Ofil’s principle that Simple is Efficient; UVollé-C uses a graphical menu with icons that designate functions. The offered list of functions corresponds to those that are needed during UV inspection both indoors and outdoors. And Moshe Goldbaum adds: “Deliberately we refrained from overloading the camera with excessive functions, aiming at simplifying processes so that users can get directly to the point of detecting corona and arcing”.

A led flashlight is another innovation implemented in the UVollé-C cameras series. The physical dimensions of the UVollé were found to be most appropriate for inspecting cabinets and switchgears that are typically dark. Effective up to 3 meters, the flashlight is Ofil’s special treat that will soon turn out to be a highlight.

The C series has 2 models: UVollé-SC and UVollé-VC. Both share the same main functions but differ in their ability to capture and play video clips. UVollé-SC stills camera is the best value for price and is an excellent choice for novices who wish to get acquainted with the advantages of UV inspection.  UVollé-VC video camera is an excellent choice of non-destructive testing equipment for predictive and condition based maintenance.

Ofil has established it fame as a leader in UV inspection technology. Much efforts and ongoing research have led Ofil to the place where the company can claim that its products dominate the corona inspection arena worldwide.   “We have always been looking forwards to keep on developing new solutions and promoting our products. We promise to continue our efforts to justify our customers’ faith and maintain their ongoing loyalty” summarizes Ofil’s CEO.
