AREVA Completes Acquisitions for Service Business Unit
AREVA's Transmission & Distribution division announces the first two acquisitions for its Service Business Unit.
Powermann Ltd. (Poole, England) will strengthen the high-voltage service activity in the United Kingdom, especially with power generators and utilities. This acquisition also will improve AREVA T&D's service geographical presence in the country, offering better proximity and reactivity to some of its largest customers.
RB Watkins Inc. (Stow, Ohio, U.S.) will enhance AREVA T&D's capability to install, maintain and repair power transformers in the United States, contributing to differentiate itself through the quality of service.
