Clean Line Energy Offers Environmental Contract to POWER
Clean Line Energy Partners, LLC has awarded POWER Engineers a contract to perform environmental planning and regulatory compliance consulting services for the Centennial West Clean Line.
The Centennial West Clean Line will transport more than 3500 MW of new renewable energy generation from eastern New Mexico and deliver it directly to the southwestern United States via an approximately 800-mile (1287-km) 500-kV high-voltage direct-current transmission line. POWER Engineers will coordinate important feasibility, siting and permitting studies, which are essential to determine the optimal project route.
