Cooperative Response Center Inc. (CRC), a nationwide contact center and central station, announces its business partnership with TextPower Inc., a text messaging (SMS) business solutions provider based in San Juan Capistrano, California, U.S.

By using TextPower's SmartAlerts texting solution, CRC will enable its contact center membership, mostly utility companies, to offer their consumers the option to report power outages via text messaging. CRC will also use TextPower's texting service to verify outage restoration through text messaging.
