Dome-Tech Conducts Energy Auctions
The Dome-Tech Group (Edison, New Jersey, U.S.) recently completed online reverse-energy auctions for three large-scale buying groups — the South Jersey Power Cooperative, the New Jersey Public Power Association and the New Jersey County College Electric Consortium — representing 21 county and municipal government agencies in New Jersey. Dome-Tech assisted these entities in procuring more than 700 million kWh of electricity valued at more than US$65 million using the World Energy Exchange (Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.; www.worldenergy.com).
Dome-Tech provides energy engineering and professional consulting services to energy-intensive companies and institutions. As a World Energy Channel Partner, it uses the Exchange to assist its customers in securing low-cost energy supplies that meet their greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies.
