Hyundai Heavy Industries Acquires UL Certificate
Hyundai Heavy Industries (english.hhi.co.kr) passed Underwriters Laboratories official test for solar module sectors. It is the first Korean company to acquire this certificate. This successful acquisition will help accelerate business in the U.S., which is currently the third-largest market and projected to be the biggest in 2010 within the 1-GW market.
HHI has already gained CE and IEC certifications, both internationally recognized safety and quality benchmarks. In 2010, HHI is aiming for sales worth 1 trillion won.
