LED Streetlights Shine on Mayors

GE Lighting Systems Inc. (Hendersonville, North Carolina, U.S.) showcased its new LED StreetDreams post-top fixtures in June 2008 at the 76^th Annual Conference of Mayors in Miami, Florida, U.S. More than 250 mayors from cities across the United States attended. GE provided six of its LED StreetDreams luminaires for the event. The new lighting system was installed in the median along Pan American Drive leading up to Miami City Hall. The LED StreetDreams post-top fixtures will be introduced to the broader market in 2009.
