Bayard Group Completes Cellnet Purchase

Bayard Group (Sydney, Australia), a global investor in energy measurement and efficiency technologies, has completed its US$705 million acquisition of Cellnet and associated subsidiaries. Cellnet's headquarters remain in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.

Following the acquisition, Mike Zito stepped down as CEO of Cellnet but still serves as a special advisor. Cameron O'Reilly, managing director of Bayard Group, is acting as CEO of Cellnet while Bayard seeks a permanent CEO.
