Investment Group Acquires Hunt Technologies
Hunt Technologies (Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, U.S.), a supplier of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and meter monitoring technology, signed an acquisition agreement on March 2, 2006, with Bayard Group (Sydney, Australia), an investor specializing in the energy measurement and efficiency technology sectors.
The agreement allows Hunt to remain as an independent operating company, while providing capital resources for further expansion of its AMI business in both the domestic and international markets. Hunt will continue to be operated by the management team that was in place before the acquisition, and will maintain its headquarters in Pequot Lakes.
Todd Headlee, Hunt's COO prior to the acquisition, assumed the role of CEO.
