LODESTAR Corp. (Peabody, Massachusetts, U.S.) took a major step in its global expansion with the opening of its first international subsidiary, LODESTAR Solutions Ltd., in London, England. LODESTAR is a provider of software solutions to the energy industry.

The company's London location will serve as the main office for sales, business development, customer support and professional service implementation teams that will work with LODESTAR clients throughout Western Europe. Expansion into the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Italy is anticipated in the coming months to serve the needs of new customers in those countries.

LODESTAR provides solutions for regulated distribution companies, competitive retailers, independent system operators, wholesale companies, and transmission and generation companies.
