NYSERDA Offers US$5 Million to Fund T&D Research
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has made available US$5 million to support projects that improve reliability, security and overall performance of the electric power-delivery system in the state. NYSERDA anticipates making multiple awards in each of four distinct categories: demonstration projects, product development, engineering studies and research studies.
Funds will be awarded in two rounds. The deadline for the first round of proposal submissions was May 1, 2007. The second deadline is Nov. 1, 2007.
