A unique feature of the Finepoint Circuit Breaker Test and Maintenance Training Conference is the Hospitality Expo. It is where hospitality mixes with technology between friends and professionals.
“People come from all over the world to attend this conference,” said Mike Welsh, substation electrician foreman from Alliant Energy, “and our people make some great connections at the Expo each evening.”
The Hospitality Expo is open each evening and takes over the entire 17th floor of the Omni William Penn Hotel. Following a full day of training, participants head to the 17th floor for three hours of exploring the exhibits and networking with their peers. Ninety companies will exhibit their products and/or services. Many of the same exhibiting companies return year after year due to their successful endeavors at this conference. At the same time, new exhibiting companies are represented; therefore the Expo continues to grow each year, both in size and interest.
A variety of favorite food and drink is stationed throughout the entire expo for all to enjoy. Participants and exhibitors have the opportunity to network in a comfortable setting of each exhibit area. “Our participants and exhibitors love this Expo,” said Bill Myers, the conference host, “and many important business contacts are made each evening of The Expo while we provide a relaxing, friendly, ‘down-home’ atmosphere.”
