UtiliVisor has been awarded a contract to provide a customized submetering solution at the Setai, a new mixed-use hotel/condo building in Manhattan. Located at 400 Fifth Avenue, the Setai is a 60-story tower that features a 200-room hotel, residential condominiums, spa, salon, restaurants and expansive bar.
The utiliVisor solution for the Setai involves the design of an expandable, Web-based utility-grade submetering system that monitors stakeholder energy consumption remotely. UtiliVisor's submetering experts provide billing and utility rate analysis by organizing data from the building automation system, documenting lease/ownership information and proper billing procedures, and then reviewing and auditing bills to apply itemized utility rates for each stakeholder.
Founded in 1978, utiliVisor (formerly Utility Programs & Metering) offers comprehensive energy monitoring and submetering services, providing accurate, reliable solutions to boost efficiency and lower energy consumption. The utiliVisor system works in real time to collect and format data, monitor operations and equipment errors, and deliver oversight via Web-based alerts and alarms. UtiliVisor services more than 450 facilities nationwide and oversees more than 47,000 service data points. It is also the largest submetering company in the tri-state New York metropolitan area and an approved Meter Data Service Provider for the state of New York.
