Energy Monitoring Software is Offered as Mobile Device App
AlsoEnergy's PowerTrack software is available as an app for iOS, Android and soon, Blackberry devices.
PowerTrack is AlsoEnergy's real-time energy monitoring software that allows users to integrate energy consumption and production data from renewable energy sites with cost and performance metrics. The cloud-based application delivers a comprehensive monitoring and measurement software for energy devices to determine profitability and asset management.
The new app is compatible with both tablets and smart phones and creates a complete monitoring solution for remote access, onsite visits, and out of area management of multiple sites. The app provides on-site teams the ability to access tracking data such as alerts, power output, production charts and video from any location on virtually any app-enabled mobile device, which can increase productivity and decrease system downtimes.
"We've designed the app with the user foremost in our mind," said AlsoEnergy CEO Robert Schaefer. "Our goal is to enhance the user experience and integrate the latest technology all while making mobile monitoring for any solar, wind or other energy investment a reality."
The app is available in the Android Marketplace as Power Droid and in the iTunes App Store as PowerTrack Mobile. A Blackberry app is in development.
