OPPD Chooses pbviews for Performance Management Initiative
As part of its performance management initiative, Omaha Public Power District (OPPD; Omaha, Nebraska, U.S.) will implement the pbviews software solution from performancesoft Inc. (Ontario, Canada).
Working towards its mission of delivering high-value energy and other essential services to its customers, OPPD outlined several success factors to link into its overall strategic plan. OPPD will be looking to pbviews to facilitate success in: increasing customer value, maximizing employee potential, achieving operational excellence, keeping the organization financially strong, growing the business and fostering outstanding corporate citizenship. Through the use of features including Briefing Books and Views, pbviews will provide OPPD management with the information and insights necessary to ensure that the objectives laid out in its Strategic Plan are met.
“Best decisions are made with the best information available. We must continuously measure and monitor results, and be held accountable,” said W. Gary Gates, president and CEO of OPPD. “As a result, we identified a strategic initiative to implement an Enterprise Business Performance Management system.”
“We see pbviews as the tool to monitor the company's key performance indicators, measure them against strategic objectives and align day-to-day activities with business strategies,” said Joe Waszak, division manager of Operations Analysis and project manager for this implementation.
