Tekla Xpower Extends Coverage Throughout Latvia
Latvia's national energy company, Latvenergo, has ordered an expansion of the Xpower network information system from Tekla (Espoo, Finland). After the expansion, Tekla's system will be in use throughout Latvia.
Stemming from a frame agreement negotiated in 2003, the order covers 10 new electricity distribution districts, where the implementation of Tekla Xpower starts with network documentation. The areas where such documentation already exists will begin to extend its use module by module. Latvenergo aims to have Tekla's Xpower in full use by the end of 2007.
Tekla Xpower covers the entire life cycle of energy distribution networks.
