Origin GeoSystems, a subsidiary of Power Delivery Associates (PDA; Smyrna, Georgia, U.S.), has signed an agreement to provide a complete automated mapping, facilities management, geographic information system (AM/FM/GIS) and automated staking solution for Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative (WREC; Dade City, Florida, U.S.). The sale was made in conjunction with Itron Inc. (Spokane, Washington, U.S.), the exclusive sales agent for Origin GeoSystems Inc.

The contract includes Origin GIS from Origin GeoSystems; ArcGIS, ArcSDE and ArcIMS from ESRI; and Staking Partner for Origin from Partner Software. It also includes data migration services to convert WREC's existing CAD mapping files into an ESRI Geodatabase. The implementation will be using the Origin MultiSpeak Engine to provide integration between the GIS and external systems. OriginGIS has recently been certified MultiSpeak2 compliant.
