Transpower New Zealand Ltd. has awarded Psymetrix Ltd. (Edinburgh, Scotland) a contract for the supply of its StormMinder power dynamics management (PDM) system. The PDM will allow Transpower to manage its power-grid dynamics and ensure that reliability is maintained as the New Zealand transmission system is reinforced and new generation, including renewable sources, is connected to meet growing demand and reduce carbon emissions.
