Oncor Utility Solutions (Oncor; Arlington, Texas, U.S.) recently signed an agreement with Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P; Berlin, Connecticut, U.S.) to work on two process-improvement initiatives
- scheduling and resource management
- development of a new strategy for efficient contracting
Wade Freeman, executive vice president and general manager of Oncor Utility Solutions, stated, "This opportunity will allow Oncor Utility Solutions and Connecticut Light & Power to work together and strategically develop products that will improve service to their customers. This agreement is a step forward in the launch of our new business and affords us an opportunity to work with a well-respected utility client," added Freeman.
Lee Olivier, CL&P president and chief operating officer, explained, "In 2002, we are putting laser-like focus and energy on becoming a top-performing service company. To transform Connecticut Light & Power to a best-of-best service enterprise, we are implementing an aggressive agenda of improvement initiatives and we look forward to working with Oncor on implementation."
