Superior Electric Northwest: Project Manager/Estimator

Provide a single point of contact for electrical projects. Request and respond to job bids & RFQ’S. Work with management to review bids and request bid bonds or performance bonds if necessary. Assure bids are submitted by required deadlines. Breakdown bid costs for budgeting purposes detailing schedules, man-hours, specialized equipment rental and manpower loading. Estimate type and quantity of equipment and materials needed for each job. Request quotes on specialized rental equipment and subcontractors as needed. Assign job numbers and set-up job folders for active jobs and initiate and monitor billing process. Attend pre-construction and job meetings. Visit job locations regularly to become familiar with conditions and customer/owner requirements. Work with Superintendents and field supervisors to request labor needs, assist in job site set-ups and answer technical questions. Monitor project forecast budget versus actual costs and make recommendations to management to assure profitability. 5+ years Project management and/or estimating experience with transmission lines and/or transmission substations required.
