Doble to Host Life of a Transformer Seminar

Doble Engineering will host the 2010 Life of a Transformer seminar on Feb. 7-12 at the Buena Vista Palace in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The topics are arranged in a natural flow pattern, beginning with specification and design of a new unit, and finishing at failure analysis and end of life issues, while encompassing virtually every topic in between.

The seminar features a revised agenda based on attendee feedback --with a greater emphasis on case studies and practical, real-world concerns.

It also offers focus group discussions, which allows for in-depth, detailed discussions with peers and a select body of experts.

New for 2010 are tutorials. Doble has included a new track that will make this seminar more user-friendly and practical. Tutorials are intense, morning-long sessions that are designed to expand the standard one-hour sessions into detailed, more in]depth presentations.

More than 30 transformer specialists will be presenting at the show, and presentations and discussions on topics will include transformer design, manufacturing, testing, operations, loading and insulating materials.

Attendees can earn up to 3.8 Continuing Education Units for attending this seminar.
