GE Energy Offers Course Discount for IEEE Members
As an IEEE Education Partner, GE Energy offers a 10% discount to current IEEE members for its Power Systems Engineering Courses. According to Martin Shalhoub of GE, GE Energy's PSEC are actually recognized as the largest corporate IEEE Education Partner.
The PSEC program offers a range of classes from Power Systems Analysis and Global Power Markets to Resource Planning and Emerging Generation Technologies. The courses take place once annually at GE's Energy Learning Center equipped with labs and computers that run relevant software.
PSEC courses offer flexible registration options. Individuals can register for individual classes, a specialized 4-week quarter, or take the entire PSEC program and become apart of its alumni
IEEE is the world's largest professional society for electrical and electronics engineers, with membership spanning more than 160 countries, 324 discipline-specific sections, and 1784 local chapters. In addition, IEEE sponsors more than 850 educational conferences per year, and publishes 144 engineering journals and magazines per year.
