GridWeek Announces First 100 Speakers for Smart Grid Conference
GridWeek has listed the first 100 speakers -- of the 200+ anticipated -- for the fifth annual thought-leadership conference in Washington, D.C. Speakers will participate in 40 unique conference sessions taking place Sept. 12-15 in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
The list of conference speakers range from CEOs of major investor-owned utilities to government leadership, senior executives of Smart Grid technology companies, consumer advocates, regulators, and principals of industry-leading research groups and consultancies.
As always, GridWeek's advisory board of 14 stakeholder organizations has put a priority on creating thought-provoking dialogue by building a strong agenda around the most critical industry topics.
Focused on The Way Forward for Smart Grid, GridWeek sessions will fall into three broad themes: "Looking Forward," "Strategic Solutions," and "State of Deployments."
"In 2011, we've added additional advisory board members to ensure we have even more well-rounded content and speakers, with a focus on attracting more voices from utilities, regulatory bodies and government," said Anto Budiardjo, President and CEO of Clasma Events.
