Shermco Industries Currently Offers 66 Job Openings
Rorry Phillips, human resources/risk director for Shermco Industries, has announced that the company currently has 66 job openings.
The company, having grown its employee base by more than 30 percent in 2010, continues a strong growth spurt in 2011. Shermco currently lists openings for electrical technicians, breaker technicians, electric motor machinists, sales representatives and electrical instructors for many of its locations, 60 percent of which are in the Dallas area, said Phillips.
“We feel blessed to have so much opportunity to offer during a down economy and the current 8.9 percent unemployment rate,” said Phillips. “What is even better is that this company has received the ‘Best Places to Work’ designation several times from the Dallas Business Journal. Also, many of our jobs are green, given we are heavy into the wind generation industry.”
