The Telecommunications Industry Association has announced that Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T, will serve as a keynote speaker at the TIA 2011: Inside the Network Summit & Exhibition. Under Stephenson’s tenure, AT&T has continued to strengthen its position as the world's largest telecommunications company and as a leader in mobile broadband and global IP data solutions.

Facilitating business and technical conversations about how to plan for the best on the network – while avoiding the worst – is the mission of TIA 2011: Inside the Network. The annual ICT industry event will help lead the broadband communications industry to meet the needs of customers of all kinds with one network - secure, reliable, scalable, and sustainable.

“AT&T is at the forefront of many of the trends driving innovation in the broadband communications industry, from smartphones and tablets, to video delivery and telepresence, to next generation smart grid connectivity and cyber security,” said TIA President Grant Seiffert. “Randall Stephenson’s participation in this event is important not only for the supplier community, but also for every organization in the broadband value system of services, applications, network operations and infrastructure.”

TIA 2011: Inside the Network will be held May 17-20 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Dallas. Registration opens in February.
