Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to the popular Collegiate Program.

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to the popular Collegiate Program at the 2014 IEEE PES Transmission & Distribution Conference and Expo. Employers are invited to participate in the Student Job Fair and a variety of exclusive access sponsorship opportunities (see below). More than 200 students participated in the Collegiate Program at the 2012 T&D event in Orlando.

Highlights of the program include a Student Job Fair, a social media fueled frenzy known as the “Infinitely Electrifying Energy Extravaganza (IEEE)” Scavenger Hunt in the exhibit hall, a collegiate reception, eight opportunities to refuel from Monday dinner through Thursday breakfast, a student poster contest with prizes, and a Collegiate/Industry luncheon. These activities will provide networking opportunities with roughly 700 exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals.

See the IEEE PES site for details on the student poster contest and the student hotel support program.

IEEE Student Members can register for the IEEE PES T&D Conference & Exposition for $40 (meals included). Not a student member? Join IEEE at www.ieee.org. Student membership is $32.

EXHIBITORS AND UTILITIES: You can purchase a Student Job Fair booth, purchase a luncheon table for eight people or sponsor the Collegiate Reception (exclusive access to students). Encourage your company to recruit the best of our industry’s future talent at the 2014 T&D show. Over 200 students attended the 2012 show in Orlando.
