Hubbell Booth Takes Up 3500 Sqare Feet

Hubbell Power Systems' booth covers 3500 sq ft, or seven business units at this year's IEEE PES T&D Expo. The company's booth comes in 108 crates and takes three semi-trailer trucks to transport the full cargo, according to Gene Wolf, chairman of the IEEE PES T&D Committee in his IEEE PES Blog.

Hubbell is demonstrating its Versa-Tech single-phase recloser, which frees up capital tied to inventory. The recloser is installed on systems up to 27-kV, 125-kV LIW (BIL). It is fully programmable and user-settable from 50 to 800 A minimum trip. It offers 400 A continuous and 8,000 A interrupting. It is environmentally friendly with no oil.
