Maclean Power Systems Preparing for Expo

This year's MacLean Power Systems booth with showcase its full line of products, highlighting several new innovations in grounding, composite insulator, and anchor lines

The company is going above and beyond to make this year's attendees feel comfortable in the company's hometown, according to MPS. The marketing team has spent countless hours over the last several months preparing for the April show..

In addition to its product display, the MacLean Power Systems' booth #1815 will be equipped with a 40" flat screen LCD TV, which will feature the MacLean Power Systems' interactive website that was redesigned and introduced in December 2006. Attendees will get to view all the new features and benefits of the new website firsthand. In addition to the fully functioning website, attendees will also be able to view other multimedia presentations highlighting products and product installations.

The 2008 IEEE PES T&D Convention and Exhibition is the first big event since the completion of Project COE, the MacLean Power Systems' facilities project that involved major upgrades, expansion, and consolidation of several US manufacturing facilities including MPS headquarters manufacturing plant in Franklin Park (near O'Hare International Airport).

The company's products include automatic and bolted connectors, silicone rubber non-ceramic insulators from 11 kV to 1000 kV AC and up to 800 kVDC, surge arresters, anchors, pole line hardware, ferrous and aluminum cast hardware, hardware assemblies, fiberglass products, specialty steel fabrications, grounding equipment and tools/accessories.
