Companion Tours and Hospitality Room

The IEEE PES Hospitality Committee has planned a number of exciting tours and events for attendees, their companions and exhibitors to enjoy. The Crescent City is home to great music, sumptuous cuisine, and unique architecture. Most importantly, the spirit of the people is stronger than ever.

Those who want to experience New Orleans’ best can venture out on tours to the Oak Alley Plantation, the Louisiana swamp and Bayou, or the Garden District. For an overview, take the New Orleans Super City Tour or the Hurricane Katrina tour. For a fun activity, try the “Cookin’ in the Crescent City” demonstration.

For your convenience and comfort, the Companions’ Hospitality Room at Ernest N. Morial Convention Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (April 19-21) and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 22. You are required to wear your registration badge for admittance to the hospitality room and for all tours and activities.
