Broadband Over Powerlines (BPL)
Broadband over powerlines (BPL) is a technology for high-speed communications over existing high- and low-voltage distribution circuits. It has been a goal of the electric power industry for decades and today's low-cost digital technology makes this goal a reality. This panel will discuss the technological, regulatory, business, and societal dimensions of this potentially disruptive new technology.
