Aging Workforce: Overcoming the Technical Talent Challenge
Retirements and displacements are having major operational and business implications on the utility industry. This super session, chaired by Wanda Reder, vice president of the Power Systems Service Division at S&C Electric Co., will focus on the challenges of replacing the loss of technical knowledge and skills sets within the utility industry.
Other panelists include: Clark W. Gellings, vice president-innovation at the Electric Power Research Institute; Jeffrey A. Fleeman, manager, transmission services, American Electric Power; and Fred Dennert, managing engineer, distribution standards, BC Hydro.
The session will be held Tuesday, April 22 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
