ACS Provides Retirement Administration Services for Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority

Buck Consultants, an Affiliated Computer Services company, has been selected by the Employees' Retirement System of Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) to provide retirement plan administration services. The System covers more than 20,000 active and retired employees.

Under the terms of the three-year contract, Buck Consultants will provide the administrative services through its integrated OnPoint product. OnPoint will provide PREPA's Retirement System with an automated tool to administer benefit calculations, manage data, and deliver employee self- service.

"We have been very pleased with the consulting services Buck has provided during our long-standing relationship," said Otoniel Cruz Carrillo, administrator of PREPA's Employees' Retirement System. "We are now expanding these services, because of OnPoint's impressive capabilities, consulting team, and system support facility."

"Buck is very proud of our 60-year relationship with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority. In fact, Buck's original founder, George Buck, personally helped establish the System's original retirement program in the 1940s," said Ann Vezina, group president of ACS Commercial Solutions. "Today, Buck's OnPoint product is enabling PREPA to take advantage of bundled, cost- effective retirement plan services."
