FirstEnergy to Automate Legal Department
FirstEnergy (Akron, Ohio, U.S.) has selected Mitratech's TeamConnect Legal to optimize legal operations and support business strategies. After comprehensive competitive evaluations, FirstEnergy chose TeamConnect Legal for its ability to meet the FirstEnergy legal team's reporting needs in a user-friendly format.
"As our business continues to grow and reporting requirements increase, it is important to have a system that provides a real-time holistic view into pending matters as well as the ability to control legal spend," explained Gary D. Benz, associate general counsel at FirstEnergy. "TeamConnect Legal can provide us with that along with the flexibility to evolve as our business drivers and competitive pressures likewise evolve."
TeamConnect Legal will initially be implemented for 40 FirstEnergy users, to reduce the costs and time associated with managing legal matters.
