Ameren Adds MediaRoom for Journalists to Its Site

Ameren Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, has added a comprehensive resource to its Web site, http://www.ameren.com/, to make it easier for journalists to get background information for stories about the company.

Known as the Ameren MediaRoom, the new resource is designed to meet journalists' needs quickly and efficiently. The Ameren MediaRoom includes links to up-to-date contact information, corporate background materials, an archive of press releases going back to 2004, fact sheets, executive bios and downloadable press kit documents. The site is hosted by PR Newswire, a global leader in news and information distribution services.

In storms and other emergency situations, the Ameren MediaRoom will also be the place to go for the latest information on power outages, restoration efforts and other breaking news. In addition, journalists can opt-in to receive alerts on news from Ameren by e-mail, RSS feed or both.
