Capgemini Extends Contract with Hydro One for IT and Business Process Outsourcing
Capgemini Canada has signed a $650-million CDN (€500 million) contract extension to 2015 with Hydro One Networks Inc. Capgemini will provide Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Core Systems Support services to Hydro One to support its evolving business needs.
The original contract between Hydro One and Capgemini was effective December 2001, and this current contract extension calls for Capgemini to continue to provide the following services in support of Hydro One’s business transformation and investment program:
- Business Process Outsourcing – a full scope of services including Source-to-Pay, Finance & Accounting, settlements and customer service and billing as well as HR/Payroll
- Information Technology Outsourcing – Infrastructure Management and Applications Management services
- Core System Support – Implementation and optimization of Hydro One’s packaged core systems, including SAP among others.
