Dover, Delaware, to Install ArcFM Enterprise GIS

The city of Dover, the capital city of the U.S. state of Delaware, is the 400th site to choose Telvent's ArcFM Solution. In the last 20 months, Telvent’s utility group has signed agreements with 100 new ArcFM users.

The ArcFM Solution is a complete utility GIS solution based on the ESRI ArcGIS platform. As an application suite, it provides a family of products and tools for editing, modeling, maintaining, and managing facility asset information - both on the desktop and in the field - for electric, gas, and water/wastewater utilities. ArcFM products support mapping, mobile viewing and editing, staking, design, and network and outage management.

The city of Dover was looking to migrate to an ESRI-based GIS. Other considerations in the city’s decision to choose the ArcFM Solution included the significant data migration experience offered by the Telvent utility group and the solution’s tools for managing not only electric facilities but also assets such as fiber.
