GMP Selects R. W. Beck for Smart Grid Program Support
R. W. Beck, an SAIC company, will assist Green Mountain Power on its advanced metering infrastructure implementation and grid automation program, which is funded in part by an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant. GMP provides electricity to approximately 94,000 customers in Vermont.
The firm will support GMP through the implementation of its smart grid program over the next three years. R. W. Beck consultants will assist with project management, change management, AMI acceptance testing and implementation support, regulatory support, and design and engineering services for both substation and distribution automation.
