Intergraph Corporation has announced the availability of SmartPlant 3D 2007. SmartPlant 3D delivers increased designer productivity for initial modeling, detail design and design modifications, and reduced time to produce and update intelligent drawings.

With extended design automation capabilities to drive productivity during 3D plant design, SmartPlant 3D 2007 supports tight integration with the SmartPlant Enterprise portfolio. Among other enhancements for all design disciplines and automatic drawing production, the new version includes new modeling functions that extend the capabilities of SmartPlant 3D to meet the unique structural requirements of power plants, pharmaceutical projects and offshore projects.
