Itron, SAP to Demonstrate Advanced Metering with Openway

Itron Inc. will be teaming with SAP to demonstrate OpenWay by Itron, an entirely new, open-architecture AMI (advanced metering infrastructure) solution at the CIS Conference, May 21-24, at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

SAP will host the demonstrations at its booth #601. SAP will be demonstrating an end-to-end business process to turn on and off power remotely from the SAP interaction center through the OpenWay AMI network. This demonstration leverages Itron’s open architecture.
