Mincom Acquires U.S. Utility Solution Provider Conversant

Mincom Limited has acquired the customer information and billing systems business of Conversant, a developer of utility industry software solutions.

This latest acquisition reinforces Mincom’s commitment to the utility industry by significantly enhancing its software solution offering and service delivery capabilities.

Conversant supplies a range of innovative software and services to manage customer care and billing functions for utilities and energy service providers worldwide, all aimed at improving efficiencies and lowering costs. Its Customer Information System (CIS), Customer Watch, is 100% Java-developed and production-proven. By adding Conversant’s CIS solution, together with its specialized utility billing solutions, Mincom is now poised to deliver an end-to-end solution to the global utilities industry.

The management and employees of Conversant will operate as a dedicated global utilities business unit within Mincom, focused on utility customer care and billing solutions. Stan Royal, Conversant’s chief executive officer,will lead the new business unit as Vice President of Utility Solutions.
