Electric Energy Chooses Mincom's Software Solution
Electric Energy Inc. (EEI, Joppa, Illinois, U.S.) has signed an agreement with global technology solutions provider Mincom Inc. (Englewood, Colorado, U.S.) for the Mincom Ellipse solution, including the Mincom Envoy Buyer e-Procurement suite.
Mincom will deploy its flagship Mincom Ellipse software system to integrate and facilitate the streamlining of EEI's business processes, including maintenance, work management, materials and financials. Mincom also will deliver e-Procurement capabilities to source and purchase critical MRO items across the Internet. The EEI-Mincom implementation process is expected to take seven months, with an anticipated “go-live” date of July 2002.
