Stray-Voltage Warning System

The Electrified Cover Safeguard is a non-site, real-time stray-voltage warning system that warns utility workers of a potential electrocution hazard if a manhole, utility box, utility pole or street light becomes energized. The device, which also protects the public and pets, produces a visual and audible warning signal and is designed to be incorporated into utility poles, luminaires, manhole covers, casements and utility boxes. Utilities can retrofit applications with auxiliary Electrified Cover Safeguard units and set up the warning system to indicate which utility pole has become electrified.

Track Carrier

FECON's FTX148-L is designed for right-of-way clearing, site prep and vegetation management. The machine offers nearly twice the performance of a typical skid steer while only being slightly bigger for tight work spaces and transporting needs. The ergonomically designed track carrier is equipped with a Caterpillar C4.4 engine, FECON's Power Management and the Bull Hog Mulcher. It features a large cab with side-door entry and different undercarriage options. The loader arms have the reach and versatility to run more attachments such as the tree shears, grapples or stump grinders.

Flame-Resistant Workwear

Milliken has launched a line of high-performance, flame-resistant fabrics for industrial workwear. The Amplitude fabrics are processed ammonia-free and constructed of a cotton/nylon blend. The fabric is designed to mitigate injuries due to electric arc and flash fire exposure while ensuring comfort and durability. Amplitude is available in bottom-weight and lightweight fabrics. The fabrics underwent independent testing and offer Hazard Risk Category 2 electric arc protection for NFPA 70E, ASTM F1506 and OSHA 1910.269 compliance, as well as flash fire NFPA 2112.
