Electricity Pylons Near Zwolle, The Netherlands, to be Removed
Over the next few weeks, national grid administrator TenneT will remove several electricity pylons in the Ittersumerbroek district of Zwolle, AThe Netherlands.
The dismantling will be carried out in stages and is expected to be completed by the end of September. Work started the end of August, 2009. The pylons being dismantled have become redundant because TenneT has realized other electricity connections in the region. The removal was announced earlier this year. TenneT already dismantled one of the pylons just before the start of the summer. The remaining eight will be removed in the course of the next few weeks. The pylons will be dismantled on site and transported.
