EMCO Has Order Worth Rs. 550 Crores from PGCIL for 765-kV Transmission Lines
EMCO Ltd., Mumbai, India, one of the leading Indian electrical goods manufacturing company and an end-to-end solution provider in power transmission and distribution sector, has secured five orders worth Rs. 550 Crores from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). This is one of the largest 765-kV overhead transmission line orders placed by PGCIL .
EMCO won these projects after surpassing a stringent qualification requirement from the client and against very stiff competition. The orders also involve supply of galvanized steel towers from the company’s facility located at Asoj, Gujrat.
EMCO is the third largest manufacturer of Transformers in India and a leading player in Electronic Energy Meters and Turnkey Electrical Substation & Transmission line Projects up to 765 kV.
