The 2011 edition of The Book on Temporary Grounding for de-energized construction and maintenance has been introduced by Hubbell Power Systems, manufacturer of Chance® hot line tools and grounding equipment. Revised and updated, its 124 pages of 13 sections cover grounding practices; electrical current’s effects on humans; OSHA requirements; ASTM, IEEE and IEC standards; step- and touch-potential; equipotential zones; equipment and applications; and installation procedures for overhead, underground, substation and truck grounding.
